In stock
CK 1/16" 2% Ceriated Tungsten Electrodes deliver superior arc stability and consistent performance for both AC and DC welding applications. These premium tungsten electrodes are engineered for versatile welding of aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel with excellent arc initiation and re-ignition characteristics.
The 2% cerium oxide addition provides enhanced electron emission properties, resulting in easier arc starting at lower amperages and improved arc stability throughout the welding process. This ceriated tungsten composition offers excellent performance across a wide amperage range, making it ideal for both precision work and general fabrication tasks.
- Diameter: 1/16" (1.6mm)
- Composition: 2% Ceriated (CeO2)
- Polarity: AC/DC capable
- Applications: Aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel welding
- Manufacturer SKU: T1169S20GC2
- Process: GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding)
The 1/16" diameter is well-suited for thin material welding and precision applications where fine control is essential. These electrodes maintain their tip geometry longer than pure tungsten, reducing the frequency of electrode preparation and increasing productivity in high-volume welding operations.
Ideal for TIG welding shops, fabrication facilities, and maintenance applications requiring reliable tungsten performance across multiple base materials and welding positions.
